Advice

  • What SimXPro model do I need?

It is logical that because of the many models you do not immediately see the difference or the possibilities. Aluminum profile rigs are fully adjustable and therefore give a lot of space for future wishes and updates.

Below we will list some examples that may help you to make a choice.

(*For all counts: The price always equates to quality and strength)

You just started sim racing and you use normal-range hardware (Thurstmaster, Logitech, Fanatec CSL Elite, CSL DD/ CSW, Simagic Alpha Mini) and you don't expect to upgrade to high end hardware or motion sets in the near future.

These models will fit your needs:

    R80 - X80 - XRS80 - FR

You just started or already enjoy sim racing for a while and you use normal/mid-range hardware (Thurstmaster, Logitech, Fanatec CSL Elite/ CSW, Simagic M10) and you expect to upgrade to a Direct Drive system and Heavy Loadcell pedals in the future but you don't plan on using a motion set and don't want to spend more then necessary on a cockpit.

These models will fit your needs:

    XRS80* - XT120* - R160* - XF

*Make sure to select a profile pedal deck

You enjoy sim racing and you use or plan to use  high-end hardware (Simucube, Fanatec DD/Podium, VRS or other Direct Drive systems) and you want the best in terms of strength and quality.

These models will fit your needs:

    XT120* - XT160 - XF - XFR

*Make sure to select a profile pedal deck

You enjoy sim racing and you just want to have the best available in the market. Suitable for all types future upgrades, all Direct Drive Systems, Heavy Loadcell or Hydraulic pedalsets and/or Motion systems.

These models will fit your needs:

    XT160 - XFR

  • Is my Fanatec, Thrustmaster or Logitech, compatible?

Yes, all Fanatec, Logitech and Thrustmaster wheelbases and pedals can be mounted on our products. We have optional Front Mounts available for Direct Drive wheelbases. We also have 2 types of pedal trays. The standard pedal tray is suitable for all pedals that must be mounted from the bottom, or with bolts and normal nuts up to M6. The standard pedal tray is suitable for almost all Fanatec, Logitech and Thrustmaster (loadcell) pedal sets.

When you use heavy Loadcell pedals such as Heusinkveld, you need the profile pedal deck if you want a flex-free solution.  This because these type of pedals generate a lot of force in a small surface in the center of the plate. All Fanatec pedals can be mounted to the profile pedal deck. Thrustmaster pedals can not directly be mounted on the profile pedal deck because they are mounted from the bottom.

On the profile pedal deck pedals are mounted straight to the profiles with t-nuts from the top. We supply our Profile pedal decks with 3 profiles so you can also use one as a heel rest.

*The profile pedal deck can only be used with Thrustmaster pedals when you order 4x extra cornerbrackets to generate an 90 degree angle to mount your pedals from the bottom.

  • Can I mount my own seat on the SimXPro Rigs?

Due to the SimXPro fully adjustable and modular profile and connection systems you can mount everything to your sim rig by using t-nuts.

You can mount any seat as long as it has mouting holes. With t-nuts and adjustment of the width between the profiles you can generate any mounting pattern.

*If you have a seat that only can be mounted from the bottom (most playseat seats) you can order 4x cornerbrackets to generate an 90 degree angle with the profiles so you can get your bolts in from the bottom.

  • What is the difference between the R80/X80, R160/XT160?

We get this question a lot. The R80 is a basic version of the X80. It uses less profiles and less connections resulting in a lower price.

The R80 is very easy to build and perfect for mid-range hardware.

The same goes for the R160 and the XT160. Unlike the R80, the R160 is very suitable for Direct Drive Systems.

  • What is this Black Powder coating you offer?

    Powder coating and anodizing

Almost all black aluminum profiles that you see today are anodized. Anodizing is a chemical surface treatment for untreated aluminum. During this process a thin layer of black is created that covers the surface of the profile. Anodizing is thin and very sensitive to scratches.

    SimXPro Black Powder coating

Because aluminum has a gray color in itself, this problem with gray profiles is not an issue. We thought it was a shame that the black profiles were damaged so quickly, so we researched for a better solution. We have found this in our unique industrial coating. Our coating is up to 30 times more scratch resistant than anodizing. The appearance is also more luxurious, deeper black, thicker and the coating also feels much smoother.

All our brackets are coated with our coating as standard. For this we use a matte textured finish.

  • Can I change something on my order?

As a result, it is not possible to change an order after you have placed it. Always double check your order before proceeding with the checkout.

Please make a new order if you need something else after making your order.

  • When do I need a profile pedal deck?

When you use heavy Loadcell pedals such as Heusinkveld, you need the profile pedal deck if you want a flex-free solution. This is because these type of pedals generate a lot of force in a small surface in the center of the deck. All Fanatec pedals can also be mounted to the profile pedal deck.

On the profile pedal deck pedals are mounted straight to the profiles with t-nuts from the top. We supply our Profile pedal decks with 3 profiles so you can also use one as a heel rest.

*The profile pedal deck can only be used with Thrustmaster and other bottom mounted pedalsets when you order 4x extra cornerbrackets to generate an 90 degree angle to mount your pedals from the bottom.

  • Do I need the optional X80 "Mounting point (profiles) for shifter/handbrake" ?

When you order the X80 you need to select if you want to order the optional Mounting point (profiles) for you shifter/handbrake. If you don't use or plan to use a shifter/handbrake you don't need this option.

We advice the use of the shifter mounting point if you are using a front mount for a DD wheelbase in combination with the X80. The shifter mounting point provides extra stability to the uprights.

*For the X80 we had a lot of requests to order it without the shifter mounting point profiles.

This is the only rig where these profiles are not standard included.

  • I want more information about specific products

With the products you will find extensive product descriptions and product pictures.

For the Sim rigs you will also find a link to the full description. There are also 360 videos where you can view the sim rigs from all sides.

  • The product I want is out of stock, when will it be available?

Due to the high demand for SimXPro products and the limited availability of raw materials like aluminum and steel it can happen that products run out of stock. For some products we depend on external suppliers.

At the moment, there are also world wide delivery problems with big suppliers. When a delivery date is guaranteed, we will mention this in the description. Until then, we do not have any specific information when the "Out of Stock" products will be back in stock.

We do what we can to maintain sufficient stock. If a product is not in stock, this will always be stated in the description.

  • Can I find reviews on YouTube?

SimXPro® is a relatively new company that has gained worldwide attention in a short period of time. After years of commercial rental of go-kart tracks and racing simulators for the business market, it was time for a new chapter.

Creating a global brand for all sim racing enthusiasts worldwide.

Our webshop has launched only since August 2020. We do not focus on getting as many (paid) reviews as possible. Therefor we do not ship free products to reviewers. A good price, high quality products and fast delivery is our priority. The reviews will follow by itself...

Do you want to talk to (real) users or do you want to see what setups other SimXPro users have built?

We recently set up an owners group on facebook. www.facebook.com/groups/simxpro

We would like to meet you there!
